Sign Installer / Wrapper
Whats the job?
We're looking for someone with a true passion for the industry and an eye for detail.
Have you become disheartened in your current position, working crazy hours but on a salary, been taken for granted too long or want to carve out a role in a new area and haven't been given the opportunity. Well this is it!
Our package and style of working is like no other.
In this role, you will be required to work to a high standard and to exact deadlines across a varied client base. You will be a skilled Sign Maker/Installer who has experience in fitting many types of signs, vinyl graphic application and vehicle wrapping. We can offer further training to improve on these skills.
We will expect you to have spent a minimum of 3 years experience covering a full range of skills and experience such as:
• ability to interpret briefs accurately, strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques
• Good attention to detail
• ability to communicate effectively & contribute as part of a team
• proficient in the application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles
• Using vinyl plotters, large format printers and laminators
• min 3 years experience of signage fitting on site is essential
• Complete paperwork to high standards ready to be passed on for invoicing
• CSCS / IPAF / PASMA / FIRST AID accreditations desired but not essential
• Safe manual handling of materials
• Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices
• Full Driving licence is essential
• Demonstrable experience in vehicle wrapping
This is a physically demanding role which will from time to time require heavy lifting, therefore good physical health is required to carry out the role. You must also be prepared to work outside in varied weather conditions to meet customer demands when required.
Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, able to work on their own initiative, reliable, good time keeping skills, flexible, a great team player, well organised and understand the importance of health and safety. You must also have impeccable skills in customer-facing communication.
What are the hours?
40 hours per week.
8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am - 2.30pm on Friday but as we know, in this industry, there is also a need to be flexible, so there will be opportunities to work outside of these hours including some evenings and weekends. Here at Blue Sky Signs the flexibility goes both ways.
Whats the package like?
Successful applicants will be rewarded with a competitive wage of £28-32k, related to experience of course. But we also offer overtime rates, 25 days paid holiday(plus 8 days bank holiday), work uniform, healthcare package, life insurance, pension, genuine annual bonus based on both company and individual performance. When the company grows, everyone gets rewarded.

Graphic Designer
Whats the job?
We're looking for someone with a true passion for design within the graphics industry.
If you're looking to carve out a role and create great designs for a wide variety of material and formats and haven't yet had the opportunity. Well this is it!
Our package and style of working is like no other.
In this role, you will work to a high standard and to exact deadlines across a varied client base. You will be a skilled Graphic Designer who has previous experience in designing work for print, sign, graphic application and preferably vehicle wrapping(but not essential). We can offer further training to improve on these skills.
We will expect you to have a range of skills such as:
• Ability to interpret briefs accurately, reasonable understanding of signage
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively & contribute as part of a team
• Proficient in adobe illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Complete paperwork to high standards
• To be organised with multiple live jobs
• Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices
• Full Driving licence is essential
• Demonstrable experience in graphic design with portfolio
